The fashion house of Victoria Tishina is expanding its retail space. The founder of the brand launched the fourth store. Boutique with an area of 80 sq. meters located in the Rodeo Drive shopping center.
On April 18, the new trading space was visited by the Chairman of the Committee on Industrial Policy, Innovation and Trade of St. Petersburg Kirill Soloveichik, the heads of the infrastructure for supporting entrepreneurs “My Business” - Valery Beresnev, Director of the SME Development Fund and Alexandra Pitkyanen, Executive Director of the SME Lending Assistance Fund, microcredit company. Among the invited guests were also the General Director of FORT GROUP RENTAL JSC Dmitry Chernyshev and Svetlana Vaskovskaya, a consultant for the development of teams and communities.
The VIKTORIA TISHINA brand has participated in the last two seasons of the St. Petersburg Design project. The project was launched with the support of the Government of St. Petersburg in 2022 with the aim of supporting local brands in the fashion industry. The key criterion for assessing the effectiveness of participation in it is the opening of new points of sale by designers. Since the start of the project, 10 brands have increased the space of their stores or showrooms.
“We believe that every great business begins with the first step, and our goal is to attract more talented St. Petersburg designers and provide them with the necessary support for development. It all started with 100 designers, and now there are more than 300 in the project and the number of interested is growing every month. We are ready to enter into partnerships with shopping malls: to form a pipeline of future residents for them. In response, we expect shopping centers to provide a “fast lane” for our designers – an area of preferential conditions close to market ones,” said Kirill Soloveichik.
The regional SME Development Fund notes that about 50% of designers (participants in previous seasons) want to return to the project again. The VIKTORIA TISHINA brand is one of them. In the new, third season, he will again enter the project’s branded stores and present bright collections of women’s clothing. According to Victoria Tishina, participation in the project helped her company increase production volume by 60%. Funds for the opening of a new boutique were raised through the preferential program of the Microfinance Fund. The preferential program was launched as a measure to support local fashion industry brands in 2023 and allows participants of the St. Petersburg Design project to raise up to 5 million rubles at 1% per annum for up to 36 months to open new stores or purchase equipment.
